So.... wondering if anyone has a source for what the topic says. I have the mounting hardware but unless I buy a roller shade at Home Depot I can't seem to find a proper one. Thanks for any input, Wingnut

Lang's and Snyder's used to carry them, unless they are out of stock, or have been discontinued.

Well, maybe, but they're ready to go, material and all. Try getting a quote from a custom shade shop. I'll bet these will look cheap.

It kind of depends on how authentic you want to be and how much work you want to put into it. If you want the best, sometimes you have to 'bite the bullet'.

The cloth shades are super easy to find. It is the spring loaded roller tube that the shade is mounted on that is most difficult to find. I have been looking for one for decades.
There used to be a MTFCA member named Mike Peterson who would buy 1926-‘27 Improved Model T’s and part them out. For those of us with 1926-‘27 T’s, it was a reliable source for original, hard to get parts. Unfortunately, several years ago, he stopped doing this so we no longer have this source available to us.

Jim, do a MTFCA forum search for Mike Peterson. seems like someone posted a while back that he sells on Facebook to avoid EBAY fees.

Thanks to all, I actual have an original roller and mounting hardware, only thing is it's too darn short. I need at least a 26 " wide roller shade to cover the window. Wingnut
