Foot Throttle

A friend has a 25 TT with a foot throttle hooked up allowing it or the throttle lever to open and close the carburetor. It was disconnected to replace the carburetor and fix an exhaust leak. I'm trying to help him put the carburetor side of the foot linkage together but I haven't a clue how it is supposed to fit. It obviously has a plate that mounts on one of the manifold studs, but how the heck all that linkage hooks up I haven't a clue. The part was made by Fulton Co out of Milwaukee WI. Does anyone have a picture of the unit hooked up on the carburetor ide of the engine that they would share? It certainly would be appreciated.

Also look at these for more pictures of different setups

Several people made them in several different designs so I hope something matches your setup

Thanks all for taking the time to respond. What I've learned from the responses is there were many different styles of foot throttles and unfortunately none match what is on the 25 TT.

There is a 90 degree bell crank that opens and closes the throttle on an NH, but there is nothing I've found with a picture of how it was installed. I spent a couple hours trying to fit in in place not knowing the mechanism was incorrectly assembled (see the last pp)

The good news is tonight I got a call from one of the owners son's that another son took a very good detailed picture of the bell crank assembly but of course no one knew that. So now with the picture they are now putting it together correctly.

it turns out that when the engine was overhauled a couple years ago, no one looked at the pictures taken and that was when the foot throttle bell crank was assembled incorrectly. With the mechanism assembled correctly, the new floor boards made has the hole for the foot throttle control rod in the wrong location as the rod binds on the side of the engine. So,gradually it is being untangled, but thankfully there is a picture to look at.
