Quiz - What tool will these parts eventually become?

Getting over a pinched nerve in my neck, so spent some time in the shop doing light work, duplicating a very handy tool.
Not all the parts are shown in this photo, but can you tell what they will become?

in a fair world, you'd be absolutely correct!

Scott,
Looks like some pain pills were kicking in when you were making one and you keep counting to three!

Ok, seriously? I’ve come back to this thread like 10 times to see what this is....
Scott, all due respect, but why are you holding out? It’s not
fair in the world we all live in....it keeps us in suspense, and it’s taking up bandwidth in the model T ethos. Based on those arguments it’s my esteemed option that you give it up already. WTF are these things? we need to know!!! My only guess is it has something to do with bands.

I think I got the idea to make this on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Senior moments sometimes repeat!
So yes, there are parts for 3 tools here...not all the parts, but some of the parts...
Admin Jeff
All in due time, all in due time!

(And thanks for all your hard work)

LMAO! But I do not know, some sort of puller or centering device?

Ok, the time is now or I will ban you for all eternity. On all forums, not just this one. Yup, I have that power...go ahead. test me. Go ahead...

This is where sparks fly and the heavens part.... and I deem the new site upgrade successful. Holy cow, can I get a bump in my pay grade???

And this is where I recoil in horror and bite the knuckle of my index finger (as portrayed in all good 1950's horror movies)!
And, give yourself a 15% raise while you're at it!

Judging by the foot at the bottom of the photo,
it is bushing press or
it's a two speed flux capacitor.

New tools must have some bearing...for a Ford.

I must admit... I am strangely drawn to this challenge.
And yet, I am completely baffled by this assembly of pieces. Having restored several chassis worth of T’s, I must say that this tool is completely foreign to me. My gut tells me that this tool fits a Chebby... but who would waste their time servicing one of those!
The long threaded shank tells me that this is a puller (or driver) for some sort of press fit long engagement part. Maybe front wheel hub bearing race driver? Drive shaft sleeve puller? Transmission driven gear puller? Rear axle sleeve puller? Reverse drum bushing installer? But why all the extra holes? I’m afraid I have to hang up my pride and join the vote for flux capacitor!

RE' Maybe front wheel hub bearing race driver?" That would be my guess too.

Post the rest of the parts and give everyone a chance...

More pieces will give a better bearing .....of the final tool.

You've all been very patient playing along.
Another batch of duplicate parts made...this is heat treated on the end. More to come...

It squeezes and re-peens the studs on a Hyatt bearing?!
I know, nobody but me is crazy enough to do that.

I knew I’d seen these parts before!!!
Never actually used a sleeve puller like this one, but have seen many pics floating around

Kudos to you, Kevin! DingDingDing!!!
I figured the cam picture would be the key to guessing...good for you.
Now for you and everyone else, here is #1, complete with the Dummy Axle that would be used on bare housings, or the inner sleeve. I have never seen the Dummy Axle, except in literature, and is mandatory for anything other than an outer sleeve with axle in place (which I suppose is it's use 90% of the time)
It's a copy of a Cantrell-Miller Sleeve Puller (made with a hex drive rather than a crank)

Hank
high praise from someone such as yourself...thank you.
you might like to know:
threads are heat treated alloy
cam is heat treated
plunger is heat treated
I put a hex drive for ease as folks nowadays aren't much in tune with cranking a tool with a hand crank...
I have an original tool, but thought this would be a fun project to do several at once and keep me away from all of the heavy-lifting projects that I have...

Scott, I would be a buyer for a dummy axle. I have been planning on making a dummy axle to go with my original puller. Very nice work.....

Of all the 2 pics I found online of this tool... clearly, I felt obligated to chose the one with the most cat hair in the frame. The other pic wuz so boring with only rust and grease to look at...
