Pressure testing blocks.

I thought some might be interested in how we pressure test model T’s. Every block and head that comes out of here goes through this. It’s very simple to do but it has prevented quite a few flawed parts from being sent out the door only to cause problems later.

I believe 10 psi. And thats a lot in my opinon then let sit and inspect

How high can combustion pressures get in older engines?
I have an off topic engine that has a notorious reputation for weak upper combustion chambers, side mounted head and this setup is exactly what I was looking for with all the details Erik! Thank you.

There is a plate made that has cutouts for the valves and clys for sale at a vendor. Let’s you look at the top of block or head while you test it. Dan
