Oddball Firewall!
Oddball firewall! I’ve had quite a few questions about the firewall I used for my 26 speedster since most improved firewalls were made into the cowls. This one was so graciously given to me and was about as NOS as they come. From what I can gather, this style wasn’t used very much at all. The only part number I’ve found is 3634-L. Seems it was used on bare carr and TT chassis. Probably not a hot commodity, but definitely not common and useful if building a “correct” 26-27 wood bodied car with a flat firewall. There were enough holes in the top of the firewall to safely secure it to the wood firewall without adding any extra holes preventing damage and possible devaluation.

Re: Oddball Firewall!
For a '26-'27 Fordor? I'm pretty sure they are different than the other '26-'27 cars as the Fordor body was carried over from '24 and had an underseat gas tank. Not a TT, the '24-'27
TT's used the same firewall as the'24-'25 high radiator cars. Pre '24 TT's used the same low firewall as the pre '23 cars. Dave

Yup, 3634-L is a 26-27 car chassis firewall, as listed in the ford price list of parts book.
