If you are in the area and want to see these cars on the track, they will be at the Indy race track on August 1st. through the 4th. Then at Laguna Seca on August 15th through 18th. These cars will not just be sitting in the pits for show, they WILL be on the track at speed!! We are going to be giving dirt track racing demonstrations at the Ironstone Concours in Murphys California in September. Come out and watch, or better yet, contact us and find out the particulars of joining in on the fun!!

Wow. I did not know what to expect. I have met Brian Blain, and a couple of his friends about twenty years ago. They have driven the number 17 on a few of the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club's Endurance runs. He was quite passionate about the cars back then, and I am quite pleased to see that he still is. I have had the pleasure of driving alongside, in front, or behind number 17 for more than a few miles. If you think that thing is impressive in the video? You really should try a couple miles alongside it in the open air! One year, he and I started the Endurance Run almost side by side. As I recall, we were three cars wide, he was one line over, and one car behind me in the drawing for pole positions. Then one car ahead of him failed before the start and we ended up side by side. I also did see the four cylinder National a few years later, but I have not personally seen the Packard. I did know he had it however.
