After almost 60 years I got her home to begin restoration. I am a novice and will need a lot of advice. I have been reading the forum for about 2 months now and have picked up a lot of tips. There will be more questions as the process develops. I got the wheels off and will clean them up before sending off to be respoked. I still can't get one brake drum off but will keep trying. I am going to need two 20" rims as these are almost completely rusted away.
Does anyone have a pair for sale.

I too have my grandfathers TT. Were you lucky enough to ride in it with him? Tell us about the truck. Aux. tranny? Aux brakes? Neat engine stuff?

No I did not get to ride in it just drove it a million miles sitting in one place. It has a 1947 license plate on it which is 3 years before I was born. It came with a spare engine (which is all totally torn down) I assume this was the original engine. It has a two speed rear end and a third lever that sticks just above the floor boards next to the other shifters. This connects to the brake control rod underneath. Sorry if my terminology is not correct. I am no mechanic but will have to learn. As far as I know the engine is standard. I did find a water pump in the spare parts.
