Dick Tracy wasn't that brave! Makes me cringe just looking at it! Heights don't bother me-I'm a pilot-but I have a real fear of falling!

With that railing up top, he is at the "proper" work height. That said,
imagine the safety speeches he could give from that platform !

I'm guessing that the front legs slid back to the step legs and the whole thing came forward & down. Must have folded somehow.
