Oh no, what's that awful noise?

I had a scare this morning on a drive. Suddenly I began hearing a terrible screeching noise, coming from underneath, sounding like the rear of the car. I began thinking axle bearing. I was almost to my intended stop, a NAPA parts store, and when I stopped I found that the bolts holding the right rear fender to the running board and to the splash shield were missing and the fender had dropped down, rubbing the tire. No harm done except for some burnt paint on the fender. I'm just glad it wasn't something more serious!
