Found this you-tube video about Henry Ford. At 4:30 they show a Model T being loaded on to a plane.
Thought some of you might find it interesting.

Looks like it to me, I even thing this might be the first car delivered by plane! Although I'm ready to bet money that it was a marketing stunt and not common practice, unless some eccentric millionaire wanted his Ford T delivered within 48 hours; but then, would an eccentric millionaire buy a Ford T?

I think that's a hoot! Stuffing all those bits in through the side door. Need to watch the whole video now, looks very good

Well, the Ford T could never have been that cheap if it wasn't so easy to assemble and if it wasn't so light (which means the manufacturer spends less on raw materials), and it would never have become such a legend!
