GPS track
I use my GPS to avoid Cities and find lessor traveled roads. Sunday on my way home it Double crossed Me!
Made for a rough day 393.8 miles.

I believe you were close to the Transportation Museum and the Thum residence.

Yikes! Yes, all of those roads are too fast and congested for Model T travel, IMO. Even the next ring out from there is too fast and busy. :(

I have driven Betsy from Hillsboro to the Museum of Transport several times. The trip north on old Hwy 21 is fine, and going to the Museum on a Sunday morning on Hwy 141 is OK, but going home in the afternoon is dicey, even on a Sunday.

Steve Thum, can you provide any guidance on how best to navigate around the St. Louis area based on club tour routes?

It was 9:00 am Sunday and traffic was light . I maintained 41-43 MPH .
