Hello. I have just joined the hobby and own two model Ts. My favorite one is a 1915 touring. I've been doing a lot of tinkering and repairing and a lot of CRANKING to get the ol' gal on the road. anyway, I got my first "FREE" start last night! I have to say, at 70 years old, It was a feeling like I haven't had in a L-O-N-G time, if you catch my drift. Thanks for listening. bobt

I get free starts sometimes. An almost guarantee for a free start is when someone asks to show them how to crank the T. That is when I either get a free start, or it won't start with the crank!

Free starts are a most wonderful surprise. I got one at the gas station this morning. Mine are magic every time to me.
Glad you enjoyed yours.

I was giving classmates rides a couple years ago at our 35th and Tin Cup gave us a'plenty. Such fun, I told the ladies "He likes you!"

The free start is always sweet, though the Mrs. doesn't always share my jubilation. The sign of a well tuned T. I get quite a few, though I can't take any of the credit. The T came to me well tuned.
