1926 Ignition Switch Screws

Hello
Does anyone know the thread size for the screws that hold the wiring loom to the back of the ignition switch?

Those short machine screws are 32 TPI, .....rather sure dia. is #8

The proper screw to use for the ignition switch is #6-32. The original screws have 5/16 inch of threads on #6-32 round head screws with small split lock washers. If the screws are too long they will prevent the springy contacts from going into the depressions in the fiber back plate inside the switch. If you have a crimping tool for electrical terminals like the one shown, you can easily trim the screws to the right length without damaging the threads.

It's hard here as not a standard thread most places stick sobyou can't just go and try

No6 x5/16 fits. Actually feels quite slack in the thread but tightens up ok.
