I am just finishing a long and difficult restoration of a 1936 Ford Cabriolet for a client in the Seattle area. The one thing left to find is an original hood ornament, either a NOS or one that can be restored. We have in this area a plater that can do wonders with old parts. If any of you have an original NOS ornament or one that could be fixed up please let me know and I will pass the information on the the owner. I have tried repros and they don’t fit her car.
Thank you
Craig

You might want to post on Fordbarn.com in the Swap Meet section under parts wanted Early V8.

Call Bobe Lopez in Davenport, Iowa at (563) 323-8791, Bobe's Antique Auto. He has lots of parts like that stashed away that he bought over the years from dealerships that closed down and from farm sales. Many NOS parts on his shelves. Not much Model T, but a goodly supply of Model A and early V-8 stuff. I am not saying he has what you need, but it's a good start. Bobe might know someone locally who has such parts.

I have an original accessory 1936 Ford Greyhound dog ornament that I would consider selling. Send me an email if interested. Thanks.
