I meant to post here and not the classifieds:
I have a Duplex Improved Carburetor on my 1924 Ford Touring.
It seems to supply good power but being fairly new to Model Ts have no basis of comparison.
Just wondering what others who have this brand think of this carburetor.

Re: Duplex Improved Carburetor
Gene since Doug Keppler (Your Brother and Mine) might let you drive his if you do the following; Winterize his pool, rake leaves as they fall, cut, split, rack, and cover firewood (Come down here so I can play out Tom Sawyer with you explaining the true meaning of "Gratification"), and wash his brides car. It will happen as a comparison. I will call him to seal the deal. Just Saying!

Hank,

Re: Duplex Improved Carburetor
Gene,
That looks a bit like a Simmons Super Power carb. I'll bet if you look at the tag it was made by Simmons.
Try a google search "Mtfca forum Simmons" and you should be able to get the info you are looking for,
Best of Luck,
Kevin

Some have the “Simmons” on top and sometimes it’s in the small print.
