Toe In !!

I began prepping the T for Covered Bridges later this month when I noticed huge scrubbing wear on the LF tire. I brought this set of 5 last March at Chickasha. I immediately remembered the 1/4”-5/16” Ford recommendation but wanted to review techniques from Forum archives. There is where I read an admonition from one of the Arkansas brainiacs who stated “review your toe in when changing from hickory spokes to 21” wires”. So I did and, lo and behold, it took 6 full turns on the adjustment to achieve proper toe in. ......Think I’ll buy my advisor his first pair of shoes in appreciation...

You may have two issues as the Tyre wear due to excessive toe in or toe out should be reflected on both front tyres feathering
and not just one. The wear due to excessive Camber can be on one wheel only. I haven’t had any experience with wheel alignment altering between wheel styles. Alan

Scrubbing wear on only one front tire is sometimes due to the opposite wheel being bent or having “runout”. Jack up your front wheels and give them a spin to see if one wobbles.

If the scuffing is only on the left front you got a bent wheel
