YES ITS TIME TO DRAIN THINGS,GARDEN HOSE, SHUT OFF THE OUT SIDE WATER SPOUT,OH YEA, CHECK THE DRAIN ON THE --T-- TWICE TO MAKE SHURE IT DIDN'T PLUG, RUN A WIRE UP IN AT LEAST TWICE TO MAKE SHURE. IF WATER WOULD JUST FREEZE AND LEAVE IT AT THAT,NO IT HAS TO SHOW ITS MIGHT BY EXPANDING TWICE ITS SIZE, IN THAT STATE IT WILL MOVE MOUNTAINS.

We have a winter procedure here too. Sometimes, in the worse part of winter, we roll up the windows during a ride.

Winter? Does that mean I will finally get to turn off the AC, I doubt it. Now if only the snowbirds will leave.

27* yesterday morning. Snow just above us in the mountains. Some places here in Montana got 4 feet of snow. Way to early for all this.

I'm not a fan of winter, or even late fall, but it's nice to have salt come out of the shaker again.

That's too funny Steve. I wonder how many of us remember the rice in the shaker? I still rap the shaker on the table from time to time.
Hmmm, why doesn't pepper have the same issue...
GREG, same here. Fear of frost, drained the T and got the pressure washer inside the grudge for now. :)
Only to fill the T another day in a couple weeks to have a Toodle or 6!

Took on 3 new properties for snow clearing this year. Got a new snowblower
on the way. Ordered six more snow shovels tonight.

Now watch .... we won't get any appreciable snow this year !

..... a kinda doubt it.

85 today, shorts and T-shirt.... this is one of the ONLY thing I'm going to miss after I leave this god-aweful State and retire somewhere tolerable.... I also promise if I pick your state to retire to, I won't act like I'm from the Socialist Republic of California.

Yup, it's fall now - the grass will turn to tan from green, it won't rain until March, and the daytime temperatures will go from 90 to 80. I guess that I will probably have to start wearing socks again. The one thing we need here in Florida is a few more people from the Socialist Republic of California.

There is nothing like the crisp Hershey mornings to make you think wintering in the northeast could be nice...

Then there is reality...

Already today will push 90 on the Suncoast of Florida, the T is gassed for a neighborhood jaunt, and the pool is calling...

Florida livin’. They say I might need a hoodie by Christmas. Oh wait, will all be but a dream...I’ll be heading north Wednesday...and staying until near Christmas. Yee-Ha ! So I get to tinker with the other T’s in an unheated garage with numb fingers, follow John advice as a checklist...and remind myself why I also bought a house in Florida.

We got down to near 40 last night...it’s coming !!
50/50 mix of green stuff in my radiator. I store in a cold garage, but just use pure gas and shut the tank off and drain the carburetor. I try to start it once a month or so and maybe throw the charger on for a night. I don’t use a trickle charger and my Federated battery (Deka) is going on 5 years.
I use dryer sheets to repel mice. Original Bounce brand seem to be the best.
