NEED Help in Locating some items for my NYPD MODEL T TOURING

Post by avent40 » Thu Oct 10, 2019 9:40 pm

Hi, I need some assistance in locating some items for my 1922 Ford Model T New York Police car. Every season I like to change my display. I belong to a antique car club and like to do fundraising for charities. In the spring of 2020 I will have a new display which will a New York City Police car and I did a lot of research and need a 1920s handcrank siren and a stationary red light to mount on the front. I was able to pick up a 1920s uniform, Police lantern, handcuffs, nightstick but always willing to get more.

Red Spot Light

You can mount twin spot lights one on each side of the car and have a red light bulb in one, and white in the other. Spot lights are plentiful and cheap both here on the forum and E-Bay. ledlights.com has lots of 6 volt bulbs all colors ready to plug in.

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

I was on the lookout here at Hershey for you, but all the cop car lights I saw were 1940's and later. Nothing even close to 1923. Ebay is probably your best bet.
