buying model T in the Netherlands

Post by tonny » Thu Oct 10, 2019 3:23 pm

Hello all,
I have a question what is the normal selling price off a late model T car, in compleet condition in the Netherlands or Belgium?
it seems over here all the prices are over the top off is it me ;)
Thanks for the help.

Tonny, have you been in contact with any of the Dutch Model T people? Toon Boer in Klaaswaal or Bert van Amstel in Naarden? They should be able to help.

Als je mij een mail wilt sturen, is mijn adres dlodge-apestaartje-nedcons-puntje-com.

Good luck!

Leo, my apologies. I forgot to mention your name in my post.

Good to see the Dutch Model T community potentially expanding... :D

Tony,

Vraagprijs is één, betaal prijs is twee.
Asking price is one, the price you pay is second.

Before I looked for the selling price of a similar car on Ebay. With that price I made an offer for the car I was willing to buy.

I am just willing to warn you. A good looking car on the outside isn't always that good on the inside. Very often you buy a bag of worms.
The last two rebuild I did were soo. the two cars were sold on an auction of a museum. The first one needed about €4,000.- to make it usable. For the second one I am already over the €5,000.- and it isn't running jet. Lucky I was not the buyer.

If it is your first model T, you better go to the car with someone who knows about Model T and ask his advice about the car as without the seller.

Dit is enkel mijn mening.
Just my opinion

Andre
Belgium
