Great, Rich!!

The only thing that could make it better would be somehow showing the ignition key concurrently falling in....

I REMEMBER MY UNCLE TELLING THIS YEARS AGO, THERE WAS A REAL BAD STORM AND THE TIN ROOF BLEW OFF THE SHED, THERE IT LAY IN A HEAP AND STICKING OUT WAS A OLD FENDER FROM THE FORD, WELL THEY THOUGHT IT WOULD MAKE A GOOD JOKE TO BOX IT UP AND SEND IT TO F-MO-CO, A WEEK LATER THEY GOT A LETTER BACK SAYING YOUR CAR WAS THE WORST WRECK WE EVER SEE, GIVE US THREE WEEKS AND IT WILL BE AS GOOD AS NEW. 75 YEARS AGO THAT WAS A FUNNY STORY,

Only “T” folk can relate !!

I wonder how many of our members have actually patched tubes roadside ? My first T, I rolled on ancient rubber for over a year and probably only got 10 to 20 miles between flats. (if that). That all went away with a set of new Riversides, and it’s a good thing too !! They were a nightmare for this green kid to mount compared to the old worn out tires. I could almost whistle and the old ones would jump back on the rim on command !

The pictures of the radiator cap blowing off reminds me of one of my best friends when I was a teen. He liked to go up a steep hill on a hot day and then take off the cap to watch the water shoot up. Well he did that on the day before his wedding and it got him in the face, so he had a scalded face right in front of everyone including his new bride!

My favorite has to be the two little lads in the Coupe.

My first T was a Coupe bought in Minnesota and trailered home in 1976, it took two years to restore and I still have it in the barn.

Thanks for the humor we can sure use it in this country right now.

I have a brother-in-law that could probably have done that in his younger days. One time we had to move this huge 4 key board organ so three of us got on one side and picked it up and he got on the other. We struggled to the truck with our end and he carried his side like it was nothing. When we got it in the truck we realized that he had the side with the motor and all the working equipment and all we had was the empty end.

That picture by Rich of the man carrying two engines reminds me of my son. There have been times when I asked for help to carry one end of something heavy. He just picked it up himself and asked where I wanted it!

The guy who has a block under each arm...
That was my late uncle Bucky - Extremely, um, "Heavy set", worked in the auto wrecking industry, he would pick up long blocks and move them around the yard... V8 short blocks , one in each hand. Always knew that if ever got him mad at me, I'd best just shoot myself first...

My grandfather had an Uncle Ted like that. Ted was Norwegian and immigrated to the states in the 20s. He stood about 6'5" and pushed 250 260lbs of pure muscle my pop said. Arms like barrels, one huge muscular man. White blonde hair and electric blue eyes. Big kind heart to match it though. Pop said he witnessed him get into a fight only once. A huge crashing blow from one fist and the guy was out cold for a good while. Why anyone would pick a fight with a man like that I'll never know.

The "where do you want these" picture reminds me of my buddy Jr. Big fellow, I was under my f350 1 day and needed a couple bolts. I ask him if he could get them for me. They were in bolt bins in the shed where my T chassis was that is now my pickup.
He hollared and said," Wildman I kaint git to them bolts, this T thang is in the way". I said, well, just move it? jokingly.
Well,I am laying on my back under the truck< I see this upside down, but he just reachs down, grabs the front axle, and picks it up and slides it over about 6 inches so he could get in beside it to the bolts. Engine chassis and all!
If you can't help em, don't hinder em'

I was wondering why 5 rabbits but then noticed that this is the Great Houdini's T, so there would be lots of those critters to choose from.

Another amazing work.

Not a T but reminds me of 1Lt Fred. Back in the 70's he invited my wife and I and a friend over for dinner and a bridge game. His Harley frame was in his kitchen, the engine all apart and spread over his kitchen table. We had dinner in his living room at his family heirloom antique table, with china, crystal and silver. The wine was poured from a gallon jug. I miss Fred, not sure where he ended up after he got out of the service and we went to Germany.
