Home again.

Post by Allan » Sat Oct 12, 2019 3:57 am

After 5252km Henrietta and I made it back from the National Rally in Maryborough. I blew a mag wheel on the trailer, and that took the tyre out.
Henrietta had a flat when parked at our motel. A tube let go near the valve stem. Coming back on the last day she developed an exhaust leak. No. 3 and 4 rings gave out. I replaced them with a set of the new ones kindly supplied in our rally packs.

This is my towing setup. I made an info board for the public to read about her history.

3263 miles would be a nice Model T drive. :)

I like your info board. I may have to copy that concept.

Interesting to see that you have the modern solar panels on the roof but next to it the old TV antenna. Clever history billboard, I think there is going to be a lot of copycats in the future. Frank

Bummer on the tires! If I had solar mine would have an antennae next to them too! Free over the air for me.

Frank, the photo is outside the church opposite our home.
My younger son is replacing our solar system on our home. We are going from 16 panels to 60. Looking to export daily to the grid so no more power bills, ever, but a nice payment each month instead.
We have no cable TV, no subscription viewing.I don't need to pay to be entertained. I usually have better things to do than sit and watch screens.
