Post by AdminJeff » Sun Oct 20, 2019 10:28 am

I got this email today from someone who needs help identifying the year of the model T in the picture. It looks a lot like my ‘21 but you guys are the experts.
Hello,

I try to put a date on this picture you'll find below. On way to get it is to identificate rightely the car that's picture on it.

Could you please help me to know if this is one of the famous Ford T and when it's build begins?

Thank you therefore,

etienne

Can’t see the front clear enough, but it looks like a high radiator.
23-24 Center door ?

Looks like an oval rear window. Center door sedan, no later than 1923 (last year for those).
The inevitable often happens.

I just did a little research.

The photo is taken at the entrance of the sanatorium in the early 20's. Steve and Jeff could be right on. The oval rear window was earlier than 23.
The wood " Bois-de-Breux" is part of a place called Grivegnee on the right side of the "Meuse" in Liege in the East of Belgium. French is spoken there, I am Flemish.

The sanatorium became in the early 60's the"C.H.U." of Liege (University Hospital Center) Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Liege.

In the attachement an other photo of the woods that were at that time around the place. No woods left at this days.
