I’m putting together a home made depot hack/huckster. I just received my reg and insurance cards. What are some ideas as to where to store these documents ?

I put them in a ziplock baggie and toss them under the seat.

I put mine in a small tin box under the seat. I used tin just in case a little critter gained entry. Truth is that I have a very good barn cat to keep them away so I'm not too worried about that.

I use one of those vintage registration holders that fits around the steering column. I slide it all the way down so that it's out of sight as much as possible. Not the most secure place (anyone could grab it if they knew what it was/where it was), but I don't have to worry about forgetting paperwork.

Thank you for all the great replies. I built my seat so it’s hinged and lockable. I guess I’ll try to find some sort of cool antique tin box to keep under there.

I have the registration card plastic laminated at Staples, then keep them under the rear floor mat of my touring car.
