Making Cool Things From A Scrap Pile
This is to inspire others as it did me many years ago. Here in dim dar hills, kids used old car hoods as sleds when it snowed so they were all rotted out anyway laying in the hollow's. Taking an old go-kart and pimping it for our Grand God-Children so when they so up, spoiling begins! Sectioning metal was the old way of sprint making as many did not have the skills in forming and wanted to get on the track quick. Will keep Ya'll posted as this progresses.

I want to kick myself for using all the hoods that I did for "sleds". The one that I remember the most was from a 57 Chevy. Made a great toboggan for group when towed behind our truck.

Recycling at it's best. My scrap pile keeps getting smaller rather than larger. There are things you can't buy in it.

That's where all the 26/7 coupe trunk lids went. They make a great sled. Roadster lids are almost as good.
