That is a great photo. I would guess it was taken about 1927 or so from the cars in the background. It's definitely a Harley Davidson repurposed by a clever fellow. The wheels would likely be T but the hubs look a little different. It's a bit later than my '19.
Thanks
Rich

Lots of model T parts but it makes me wonder how it handled? The new ones also make me wonder how they handle? The nature of the build of the first picture reminds me of E J Potter and some of the Allison powered tractors he built. :D Bud.

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

I'm not saying it's not a harley, I don't know enough about them, just it's not the same as Rich's photo. The inlet manifold is on the barrels lower than the harley and the push rod covers are evenly spaced apart unlike the ones in the Harley photo.

That is a good observation Kerry. I may have jumped to that conclusion. Based on the tank similarity and the V twin I though it must be. Looking closer now I see no valve pockets in the tanks and a different fin arrangement on the upper cylinders than even the 1924 engine shown at left. I cannot find a Harley picture that matches.
I will try to be more careful on future posts.
Thanks for the comment.
Perhaps someone can find what motor that is.

As for the 3-wheeled Morgans I was dazzled by them in the 70s and spent too much time designing one with a HD Panhead engine. Another project that didn't get passed the drawing board.
