Pig N Ford race

Post by John E. Guitar » Fri Nov 15, 2019 2:08 am

I was having a look on the Shanghai Auto Museum website on WeChat and noticed a few Model T photos.

The webpage is advertising a class held in the museum covering the variety of car races around the world. The class is targeted at 6-12 year olds.

I guess they still hold those races? I haven't heard anything current for a few years now. But those races go way back, before WWII I think. Much like hill climbs and endurance runs, people build special model Ts just for this "sport"! People that regularly participate in this event can be quite proud of the special Ts they build for it.

Yes they still hold them every year at the Tillamook county fair.
