I always like to find new homes for stuff that I acquire with my T parts. Can anyone ID any of these. I can post new photos if needed.

You ask "Is it worth finding..." Well if you mean will it put money in your pocket, probably not so much, but it would be a shame to scrap parts that someone else might need to get a project back on the road. Personally, I would rather give parts away for free rather that see them go to the scrap pile to be made into a new Toyota (yuch) part. Maybe you feel the same. (Except the Toyota part?)

Like most parts, new or used, the shipping cost often exceeds their individual value and that value depends on its availability and the someones need for it. A reconditioned double steering arm sells for $63.75 with EXCHANGE. So it has a core charge value. There is a used one listed on Ebay for Make Offer at $49.99 with $13.99 shipping. So if it sells for $26.01 + $13.99 shipping - $40 total. Ebay would get about $4 and PayPal $1.20 commission each. So the seller would net $20.81 - is that worth the time to disassemble it?

Well, if you listened to some of the guys suggesting you scrap everything, you would be in for a shock. That transmission is from a Harley Knucklehead, and is worth several thousand dollars. There should be a date code cast near the top or some place telling exact year. Here’s an eBay link of a similar transmission. Never scrap anything unless you know what it is.

While the spindle MIGHT be model T the steering arm might not even be Ford, might be Chevrolet as could be the spindle. Some of these parts mix and match. What size is the spindle bolt? The drag link kinda looks like Model A but not quite.

You will find the date on the bottom near the mounting holes. The letter is the month, the number is the year. K7 will be Nov, 1947 for example.

Frank thanks for identifying the other parts! I agree it’s hardly worth trying to sell them on eBay. I just hate to scrap things! Last year I had a free pile in Bakersfield. The person who picked it up seemed happy.

Not positive about the rocker shafts, but the upper ones are for a straight eight and the bottom a six...
I thought maybe Ford V8 at first, till I really looked and counted the rockers.

Matt, that looks like a shackle pin to me. The knorled section may screw off to be filled with grease. The wingnut would be wound out to accept the grease in the cup, and wound in somewhat to force grease into the shackle. A more complicated way of doing the same thing as a Ford greaser as used on the outer rear wheel bearings, it is likely from a rather more expensive car than a Ford.

Better compare your spindle arms to this picture and find someone who can id Fronty parts. Hard to get a good perspective of the parts from the picture but the spindle arm end is narrow like yours. lol

Like Allan B says, the bolt is a shackle bolt from a larger car or maybe truck. With that type of grease cup, it would likely date from the early '10s into the mid '20s. What it may fit is mostly a size thing. Such shackle bolts were somewhat generic and sold by diameter and length.

That motorcycle transmission is a CLASSIC example of why I get so annoyed by people that just jump in and start throwing everything away. I will likely tell about it for the rest of my days.

That date code is for October 1947 so it is for a 1948 Big Twin Harley. You can't use the price that someone is asking on eBay to determine a value. Especially if that item has received no bids. If it was a as new, perfect condition if would be worth up to a thousand dollars. Lesser condition lowers the value. As you can see it is not complete and missing a lot of parts. It is not in a motorcycle for a reason. You don't remove a good transmission. It is NOT for a Knucklehead but is for a Panhead or UL model. The letter I was not used in transmission date codes as if could be mistaken for a number 1. Therefore it is not a November casting but October.

FO is for June of 1940. Most likely it wound up in a 1941 model as July was switch over month. These cases were made by an outside vendor. Had to be delivered to H-D. Be machined, assembled, transported to the final assembly line.

I appreciate all the help! You never know what you will find in a pile of T parts! It takes a bunch of T nuts to know what every thing is.

Here is something else that I could not identify.
It is some sort of panel with a light.
