Tail Lite Wiring

Post by dunoon » Thu Nov 28, 2019 10:08 am

I'm going to be adding an additional wire to my tail-lights on my 26 coupe for the brake light. Does anyone know of a loom or sleeve that I could use for these wires or should I just wrap them with friction tape. Thanks

Ford Service Bulletin says to tape the two wires together in several places. I choose to twist/braid the two wires together like the horn and coil box wires are done.

For a nice, neat appearance, I use asphalt-coated cloth loom for all of my wiring work and tie it to others with Dacron fishing line any place where the loom is visible.

I used friction tape, which is period correct. Read the above comment.
