I always thought it was a great-looking TT. Anybody know where it is now?

It appears he is using a Ford battery box too. That's impressive.

Steve,

From memory (not as good as it once was) I believe his relative (it was his son I think) was going to keep the truck. If someone else does not have some more recent up-to-date information, let me know if you want me to check and see if I have some contact information or not.

And yes, a very nice truck with (again from memory) a Columbia aftermarket body.

Respectfully submitted,

Did some surfing on the INTERNET - from John's Obituary led me to his & wife Susan's address in Peru IA. This link includes their phone number as well https://rehold.com/Peru+IA/HIATT+APPLE+RD/2724 there is no record that the house had been sold so phone number may be good

John and I got to be pretty good friends by just visiting on the phone, never did get to meet him in person though. We had a lot in common besides having TT's. Heck of a nice guy, I miss him a lot. Dave

His profile was still active on the old forum a while back. Maybe his wife/family could be contacted that way? Dang, I sure miss our friends that have passed. Dave

His wife's profile appeared to be active as well and I sent an EMAIL (not PM) to it. No rsvp
