Are the new springs the vendors carry made by the same folks? If not, are any better than others?

If you are not running a racing engine of some sort, there is not much of a requirement, so probably safe from any of the vendors.
24-28 TA race car, 26 Canadian touring, 25 Roadster pickup, 14 Roadster, and 11AB Maxwell runabout
Keep it simple and keep a good junk pile if you want to invent something :P

I understand this, my concern is they look so cheap. Are they made in China?

I had heard the ones from Gaslight are made in Springfield Ohio?
