I know many of you also work on A’s, so I figured I might get a quick answer here.
I’m looking for a paint code for the green that was used on Model A engines. I don’t have a good sample to match. Please post it here and / or email me. Thanks!

I believe you can purchase Model A engine paint in spray cans from the A vendors.

And all the vendors put the correct size rear windows in the correct location on all the ‘23-‘25 top kits they sell...
(But seriously, I need the product in a good automotive quality single stage urethane)

I have never had any problems or complaints with Bill Hirsch paints, especially the engine enamels that the sell. I have used them on Model A's, Packards, Buicks and Dodge Brothers and they always look fantastic. The photo below is of a spare Model A transmission case that I had on the shelf, it is painted with the Bill Hirsch, Ford Model A engine enamel.
They offer it in aerosol or in a 1 quart can as well. Just be aware that "full cure" for their enamels takes a little bit of time, probably the only drawback. I know that Bill Hirsch supplies at least one of the Model A vendors, but I do not remember which one

I’m following up. According to my paint dealer, the DS127 is a gray-green and the DS135 is also gray-green “but just a hair” greener. I ordered the DS135 in a 2k single stage urethane & will post a photo & opinion next week.
