I just got my 1913 Roadster back from Gator Gould of Alabama. He did a complete engine and transmission rebuild for me and the results are outstanding. To use an old quote, that car "runs like a pack of scalded wildcats". Gator was thorough, knowledgeable and above all honest. I recommend him to anyone wanting professional Model T work on their beloved machine.

Nothing like occasional posting of a standalone name to make me think that we've lost another member followed by the realization that we haven't. Who knows? Perhaps an adrenaline rush every now and then is good for us... :D

Paula and Gator's Christmas card arrived just today. I first met Gator on tours in Australia and well remember chewing the fat while cruising on the River Murray on a paddle steamer. He is a top notch fellow.
At Chickasha in 2010 he insisted I accept a set of Bosch platinum spark plugs to use in adaptors on my Haigh's Chocolates van. They are still doing stirling service. I bought an accessory rear trunk at the swap meet. He let me park it on his stall, and I had a wonderful time stuffing it with my purchases.
That trunk and our luggage were repacked at the Ostergren's home in Northridge before our flight home. Such wonderful acts of kindness and hospitality are characteristic of the Model T fraternity worldwide, and I am blessed to be part of it.
