TT Makes its Public Debut
After many months, finally got the cosmetics and mechanical work to a point that it was time to bring the 1924 TT out for its public debut. Took several of my friends out for rides and my youngest decided he wanted to have his first driving lesson. That was only fair as he has helped on several work sessions. He did great for his first time, probably better than I did. I still have issues to sort out; generator not charging (likely shot), some more graphics to put on, rear tires to replace, and of course the ongoing tinkering/project list. It ran great, did not appear to overheat (still worried about the original radiator) and everyone had lots of fun. It has been restored as an American Railway Express delivery truck, in part as a tribute to my late father who was a true car guy who always wanted to do a project like this but never quite got around to it. Looking forward to next years car show season which will give me a chance to show off the truck and educate people about the now little known expedited parcel delivery service that the railroads had 100 years before Amazon Prime became a thing.

Gorgeous truck Bruce!
Your son looks nothing like you Young man, keep that peddle pressed down hard when in low! Slipping bands=wear/heat.
I'd blip the throttle when my granddaughter was driving to test her low speed foot.
Yeehaw! Love the amazon prime referral!

What a good looking truck! Nice to see another TT hitting the road. Life in the slow lane is great.
