26 Tudor upper door opening seal

Post by radiatorman » Tue Dec 31, 2019 1:09 pm

Just received interior kit from Classtique for 26 Tudor and it looks great.
But I'm missing a piece of trim or seal that is located at the top of the door opening that may seal when door is closed. The steel lip has three holes in it. Been unable to find picture on what this looks like so I can fabricate it, any help is appreciated.

There is no seal on top of the door. There is a trim piece that goes above the door on the body that is covered with headlining materal.
There is a lip on the inside of the body above the door that the trim piece covers. The trim piece is a piece of sheet metal folded in half lengthwise. Headliner material is glued to it and tucked inside the top edges. The covered trim piece is then forced over the body lip. No screws, no glue. There is also a small nickel striker plate that aligns with the rubber bumper on top of the door.
