About 9 years before my arrival. My brother in a RPU that I have a vague memory of before being sold. I think it’s a 1919, but not sure.
What y’all think ? My parents house is in the background before a garage was built.
Wish it was still sitting there.

I can only imagine. My dim recollection of Grampa's '40 Ford, particularly the dash radio which was eye level to me then, is still vivid.

Great photo.

Note if you zoom in on it you can see that it is a cut off touring with the door jam visible at the back of the front seat. You can also see the head of the bolt in the side of the body that holds the back of the front seat frame and body together.

The windshield bracket is for the starter equipped open cars -- so mid 1919 to 1922. In 1923 model year they went to the slanted windshield. ref: https://www.mtfca.com/encyclo/doc19.htm

T-7845, 7846 windshield bracket with integral side lamp bracket used on open cars without starter only. T-7845B and T-7846B bracket used with starter cars (has no oil lamp bracket).


It still has the wider arm rest with the wider metal cap -- used very late 1916-to 1921 on the tourings and a little later on the Runabouts/Roadsters. The later 1921 to 1925 tourings used the narrower arm rest along with the 3 piece rear touring seat tub.
If you have some additional photos of the car -- we might be able to narrow down the year range a little. But based on those observations later 1919 to 1921. And many of the 1919 to 1921 open cars look about the same.
