Helping a friend with a nice TT truck. Doing primary inspection noticed someone in remote past safety wired transmission with stranded copper. Well it probably long ago broke and was hanging loose. Pulled it out with my fingers. Has anyone tried putting the safety wire in through the trans door. Looks like should be able to. Any advice would be welcome.

Are you referring to the driven plate bolt(s) wire ?

The only hardware you can reach thru the transmission inspection cover is the 6 driven plate bolts, and the clutch finger screws.
The driven plate bolts can be wired thru the cover (suggest wiring in pairs). The clutch finger screws take cotter pins, and also can be done thru the access cover

Yes the driven plate bolts. Plan to wire together in pairs.

You could ask your wifes gyneacologist to do it

Would like to see how he'd get it up on the table...
