Model T labor charges
This was on the shelf and I thought it might be interesting to those who haven't seen one. Fordors were mentioned so it may be mid 20s.
When did I do that?

Re: Model T labor charges
I will guess at the labor rate being $3 per hour and it was split 50/50 with the mechanic.

Re: Model T labor charges
Mr. Eagle,
Thank you for posting your labor fees. You should be receiving my engine and transmission very soon and enclosed in an envelope in the crate is the $25 labor fee. If you find the need to rebuild the carburetor I will send the extra $0.75.
According to Mr. Ford's time allotted for the rebuild I should be expecting my engine back by the weekend. I will however allow one extra day should it be necessary to have the carburetor rebuilt for the additional $0.75!

Re: Model T labor charges
Thanks for sending the engine. I think I can use it in the next project.
In the mean time here are pages 2 and 3. I surprised at the interest.

Re: Model T labor charges
The present value of $25 in 1925 is $367.44
If there is any skilled re-builder out there who will rebuild my T's engine (even though it doesn't need it) for $367.44, I will hire you.

Re: Model T labor charges
I was looking for a 3 ring binder that I have that is full of original repair orders since I read this post, I finally found it. Here are just 2 showing parts and labor charges.
Each one also has the separate handwritten Parts Requisition that was done by the mechanic. The one above seems to have been a major front axle catastrophe.
