It has been nearly 3 years since Shirley my 1922ish Touring was made road worthy again. If you are looking for a summary of what it takes to get a worn out Model T back to being roadworthy, here is a summary of what you might encounter: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/70 ... 1492050012
It was a lot of fun and still is. -- IV

You've come a long way Ignacio.
I spent a lot of time reading your postings as I was getting my old girl running.

Thanks for sharing your amazing story, Ignacio. Not always a lot of fun and games along the way, but you fought on to a successful accomplishment.
Your detailed trail is very valuable stuff for those of us still on page 1 of our restorations.
You do have me wondering what you have lined up for your next challenge?

Ignacio
this is a creative and fun way to follow you along in an afternoon rather than spread over 3 years. Congratulations to you and very clever to post this.

Thanks Scott. That whole experience was amazing. I had total strangers show up at my garage door with unparalleled generosity, bearing parts and good will. I would get stuck and would receive private email from across the USA saying: you need this part and I am sending it to you in the mail. I would be exhausted and unsure of where to go next, take pictures, state the problem, post them at 11:30 pm and receive replies by 12 midnight (For I have received midnight revelations from Steve Jelf.) The victory lap came late, late night with "Father" John Tannehill and I performing the final drive train surgery and taking it for its first post-rebuild drive. Many of these and more are now great friends. When I drove my kids to school in it, it was like a time machine had arrived in their midst. Even now most Sundays it still draws a multitude of smiles at church. It was an adventure of a lifetime and I'll never be the same again.

What got me Ignacio is the time it's been since. It's flown. Here too, in my own OT madness.
Thanks for putting this together as it'll likely help someone down the road.
