Post by It's Bill » Fri Jan 17, 2020 4:24 pm

Congrats to Rob Heyen who's Model K runabout is the cover car on AACA's Antique Automobile magazine for Jan/Feb 2020. Apparently it was built by a guy named Ford...

Cheers, Bill

Just read the article and Rob did a great job, as usual. The pictures make the car come off the page. What a beauty!

Just received my copy. West is an incredible photographer. He took the pics last summer at New London, MN.

Great job Rob! I thought that car on the cover looked familiar when I opened up my copy this morning.
Sure enough.

I didn't get this issue yet & can hardly wait! The pictures look great, and this article is a fitting tribute to the wonderful restoration you did on it, Rob!

Nice! I thought your K was blue. Did you re-paint it or get another one? Jim Patrick

Jim,
When this roadster came available I sold our dark blue touring car to a good friend. Fortunately, as a result it’s still on the road and has appeared at several tours.
