Ford Model B in London, 1905 and again in 2025

My 1905 (model year) B was produced at the end of 1904, and just recently approved for the London to Brighton run. I plan to make the run this fall. It’s one of only 2 Model B surviving that are eligible, and the first Ford Model B approved.
However, it’s not the first Model B to prowl the streets of London. In 1905 at least 15 Model B were engaged as motor taxis in London, among the first motor cars to serve in that capacity. In fact, a London LLC ordered 200 “B” chassis in late 1905 from Ford. However, by the time Ford was aware of the order, production had moved on to models K and N. The order was switched to a French car. The rest is history.

Congratulations on the L to B acceptance!
I know you have been before, in a borrowed car. This should be an even better experience!
