Thank you Bill C. and Bill A. for this very nice photo of a 1905 side entrance Model C with lots of extras.

The sidelights have the license plate # on them. Never seen that before.

Looks to me to be written on the photo rather than the light itself.

It’s also on the opposite sidelight.

I've seen this done on many sidelamps. Sometimes in period photos, and sometimes on lamps at swap meets. Not so much on restored cars.
