Appears quite correct other than a few small items - someone really needs to wire the radius rod cap prior to ANY road service !

Yeh I noticed that too! But I didn't wanna be the first to pick at it!! Tried like heck to see if the wire is there behind the ball cap, I dont think I there is one either. Otherwise a spiffy looking car. Be interesting to see what it goes for.

Yes, get those cotter pins out of the ball cap, which does look like it needs to be fitted much better!

Does anyone have a FACTORY photo of a '14 runabout with the top up? Most of the examples I have, the top is always down. I wonder if the top curves into the rear top socket like a '13 does. I have an illustration from a parts book which shows the curve, but you can't rely on that!

Update on the '14 Runabout; 20K bid, 5 days to go. Looks like there are four bidders starting to slug it out.

At $21K with only 36 minutes to go! Not a bad price for such a beautiful car.

Just checked...have to add 5% buyer fee...adds over $1K, plus maybe shipping, plus maybe sales tax at the destination state, aiy yai yai...this could turn out to be a $26K car after all!

WHAT!!?? OMG...when I looked at 28.5K it had no more time left on the ticker...hmmmm...oh well. Yes, that is a bit insane, but
as I've said in an earlier post, just gives "hope" for other brass cars that are kept up. There's not many in the inventory I suspect either, so it goes without saying....Happy for the seller. Not too thrilled for the buyer, what with all the "extra fees" on top of it. Guess he's got deep pockets!

Bring a trailer has a soft close. I think it resets in the last 2 minutes to prevent sniping. At least that’s how they used to do it.

WOW! 35,000 for a '14 Roadster? I'm happy it found a new home, but... yikes! Talk about our hobby going into the stratosphere?

I'm kind of worried, as I want to build a pre-'16 T speedster (and have a chassis in sight) and this might put the bar way outside where those of us with moderate means can reach.

Regardless... this is a BEAUTIFUL car and we hope to see it out on tours after the covid stuff ends... and not languishing in a museum somewhere.
