Sorry, no longer available. F.S. 1912 Ford model T Towncar.
I am selling my beautiful and rare towncar due to personal reasons, unhappily.
This car received a new all wood body some 30 years ago by Ray Wells, but did not get paint till three years ago. Leather is to original factory specs and installed by Ernie Romero less than two years ago.
All body off restoration took place within the last four years.
Paint is midnight blue with black fenders. Extra paint for future touch ups is included.
New Amish wood non demountable wheels and white tires with new flaps and inter tubes.
A second set of beautiful wood wheels and white tires are available, but tires are hard.
The original radiator has been restored by a radiator shop that deals a lot with antique cars.
Motor with vin number 106529 making it an April 1912 build has been refreshed.
Correct rebuilt rear axle with truss rod and Rocky Mountain brakes.
Rebuilt Warford transmission with proper support brace, because I could not get up into my steep driveway. New exhaust pipe was made to get around the warford support brace but original pipe is included. New exhaust manifold.
The two piece driveshaft and radius rods come with the car.
Six volt starter and cast iron hogshead and new optima battery and cut out switch can be removed and replaced with the original aluminum hogshead which is included in the sale.
Original coil box and coils were rebuilt by R.V. Anderson.
Rebuilt Holly G carburator by Russ Potter.
There are many more improvements on the car that are not mentioned but can be seen on the following pictures.
I am not too good at polishing brass so some brass may not look nice or freshly polished.
Additional pictures are available, just let me know what you want a picture of.
Partial trades towards the purchase may be considered.
Any and all questions can be answered if you call me. $49,750. OBO

Re: F.S. 1912 Ford model T Towncar.
There are two gentleman seriously looking but they have no model T to include as part of the sale. The only way my wife is going to allow me to have a second model T after the sale is if someone includes one as part of the payment.
There are many things on this car that has not been mentioned that it makes a real beauty to own and drive. The floorboards were missing so I can take pictures and I forgot to put back the two spare tires on the runningboard before taking the pictures. Frank

Rare indeed! 1 of only 802 made for 1912.
Any buyer would be truly lucky to have the opportunity to be a part of the history of this beautiful car.

Re: F.S. 1912 Ford model T Towncar.
It may sound stupid to some, but to me until I saw this car, I saw the "Center Door" as the Model T that looked like a limousine, but this car truly fits that bill and is absolutely breathtaking!!! Just makes me wonder if the 802 were really made in 1912, how many are "still alive" today, because I have never seen one, so maybe I haven't seen as many cars as I thought...
Mr. Seress, what a gem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Sorry, no longer available. F.S. 1912 Ford model T Towncar.
I am so glad that certain individuals pissed me off with extreme comments that I decided to keep the towncar. I did some freshening up and enjoying it extremely. With the price of everything going up as it is today, I would not be able to rebuy this car, not to mention only money but the one or two thousand hours I put into making this beautiful car again.
I don’t know who brought this ad up again but thank you. Frank
