Re: FS 1909 project car
I was able to see this in person a couple weeks ago. This is the real deal! We live in a great time in old car history. Don't be afraid of this project, it shouldn't even be called a project. This was a complete original car that was purchased years ago. ( I saw the documents). Not to be critical Kim, the original body is totally restorable, it just needed new skins on the door frames, and the new skins are there ready to be attached. The extra body is a bonus. Great deal for someone!

Re: FS 1909 project car
Interesting. Engine block 8143 was mine at one time and was in the 1909 roadster that went to CA one ago. It was a very good engine block and run very well.

Re: FS 1909 project car
Hard to believe nobody has bought this car. Not a parts car! Very complete, it would take years to gather parts in this condition.

Give an old car guy a barn and he won't throw anything away.

Re: FS 1909 project car
Thanks Kim,
Thats interesting that it has no casting date. How does the area look where the date would have been? I know some had no date but does it not even have a place for it? Any idea when they started putting casting dates on the blocks?
