FS 1916 Touring AACA National first prize winner

Post by YellowTRacer » Thu Jun 03, 2021 4:26 pm

Well here I go again, helping a friend sell their T. This is a very authentic, well restored older restoration. An Antique Automobile Club of America National first prize winner when the restoration was completed in 1970. The car has been driven very little since then and is still in excellent condition, showing some visible paint surface age cracks on the painted wood parts. The only thing missing is the original speedometer. It appears that it was equipped with a Ford Special speedo. The drive and cable are there but no speedo. Pretty near flawless paint, body work and upholstery/top except for the aforementioned parts. Engine date is Jan 17, 1916. Complete with top boot. If you want one that's really authentic and well done, this is it. $14,500.00

That is a nice thing you are doing Ed 👍

Looks like a good Model T at a fair price.

Hey Doug, evidently I don't know what a PM is. It must really be P because I haven't received anything from anywhere. Help!

Ed,
PM means private message. If you are near Portland on your way up to or on your way back from the National tour, let me know.

Tim Williams.

Hi Tim, Thanks for the invite but we'll be further East on our way up to the tour when we'll have a little more leisure time and returning will be a different story because I'm the key note speaker for the Hillsborough Concours which takes place on the 17 and 18 of July so we'll have to get old #4 rollin' on the return, in order to get home for that. Still haven't planned a route yet. You missed a good endurance run yesterday. Perfect weather, great route......and I finished! Always good.

Ed
