Check out eBay item #115395561875 for very nice, completely original non-running1926 Model T Fordor restoration project. Never has been worked on. Lots more pictures with the eBay listing. If you don’t want to buy through eBay, you can contact me and buy it from me for $8,500.00. I live in Bartow, Florida. Jim Patrick

De-painting and de-chroming it would be a major job.

Never Been Worked On? It's obviously been painted, and had the top replaced, as well as the visor material. The engine pans are missing, and it looks like an aluminum cylinder head. I mean no disrespect, but a T that has never been worked on is just not possible. Even the famous Rip Van Winkle car has been worked on.

This looks almost like the Fordor body/project that I am working on. With a engine refresh and a rear axle rebuild this could be a fun driver.

Ed. It was painted long ago by a past owner to preserve the metal until he could get to the serious restoration work, but like me, he was unable to find the time to get to the restoration. Contrary to your opinion, the top and visor are original and the head is not aluminum but is steel painted silver. The reason it is so shiny is that I compounded and waxed the body prior to listing it. Overall, a restoration has never been started and except for the temporary paint job, it has never been worked on. Whoever buys this will discover they have purchased a completely original 1926 Fordor. Jim Patrick

Hi Tim. It has sold over a dozen times but many of the buyers were overseas and could not afford the trip here to see it, or the cost of transportation to their country. The other buyers just never bothered to contact me and the most recent buyer was in his 70’s and was diagnosed with a serious illness and would not be able to restore it as intended. A little frustrating, but I can understand buyer’s remorse especially when the purchase becomes a reality to someone who did not think he would win the auction. Jim Patrick

Looks great to me. What is the measurement from road to top at the back end of the roof. Thank you.
