Post by ModelT46 » Mon Sep 26, 2022 6:21 pm

thisi posted on Hemmings. It was built up perhaps 8 years ago by a club member.

Titled and configured as a 1909T. This 1909 Ford Model T Roadster has a 1915 engine and a similar drivetrain. Runs great. 5 Ball carburetor, great brass, speedometer. Cover.
Price: $24,500 Negotiable

It is perhaps the best look a like available.

Darel after watching the Hemming’s auction on the replica touring, you should let them sell it. Apparently they add the 5% fee on after the close of the auction. Your friend may fare much better than the ask you posted.

I sold a 1911 look a like all 1920’s running gears. $22,500 it went to England for 4-5 years and from there on to Germany last I seen of it was during Covid pandemic listed for sale in Germany for $78,000 …! If there’s a way to get it into a German online market you’d be surprised what kinda money it would bring. I found out about this after mine was already sold. Nice looking car by the way.

Looks like the replica Dan Treace built up a number of years ago.

I thought it might have been that car.
Dan gave me a ride in that car at the centennial in Richmond. Fun times. The problem is, it's too long until the next one at 200.

I saw this beautiful car at the Homecoming. All.craft work is top shelf, fitting of a Tourable T. Try to build one like it for the asking price.

A search of Hemmings Online does not list
it in the current ads.
