I'm listing the late Brad Lusk's 1919 Centerdoor for sale. Anyone interested can call or message me.

They are asking $15,000 but any reasonable offers will be considered. It's located near Auburn CA.
It's a rare, clean well maintained car. Interior is in good shape.

I really don't have much info on the car, but Brad drove it in many tours with me and it ran very well (when he remembered to put gas in it!)

That it is. He passed away earlier this year and his wife asked if I could post it for sale.

For those who might be wondering about the paint color on this car, Brad Lusk had told me the car was bought new by a business owner(I believe a music shop) and was painted this color to match the business’s color. When the car was restored they decided to repaint it that same color. I believe the magnetic sign on the side in the pictures says the name of that business. Brad toured regularly with the center door and it always ran well and stoped well(rear disk brakes if I remember correctly).

Good memory! Everything you said is exactly the same story I must have heard a dozen times from Brad himself over the years. He and his wife loved driving that car. It's a true driver. It is also a 12v car, but there's nothing that would prevent it from being put back to a 6v car. It always ran really well at each event we attended together, assuming he remembered to fill it with gas. Honestly, he must have run out of gas 3 times and that's only the times I know about because I saw it happen. His wife will tell you it happened many other times over the years!

My first National tour in Arizona several years ago is when I met Brad. I couldn't figure out why my car couldn't keep up with him and all the other cars at that tour, mostly on the long hills. Of course EVERYONE told me their cars were 100% stock.... As a former race car driver, my definition of a "stock" car is entirely different from that of a Model T owner. Once he told me all the cool things he had done to make his car a touring beast, I quickly followed suit. High compression head, period-correct better carb, better cam, new valves, good brakes, Ruxrell, etc. The next year at the Paso Robles/Buelton CA tour, I was finally keeping up with his car that had all of that and more. Of course all of it is completely "stock".

I spoke with his wife, Annette, last night at length and she says it's still in the car hauler (which is also for sale) from their last outing 2 years ago. So it probably has a dead battery, but other than that, it should start and drive (tour), mostly as is.
She thinks there is at least one spare engine, possibly more. I'm having her get pics of that.
