Great looking and sweet running old Ford! My old friend Jake Caller found one in La Grange, Tx in the 1950's. In those days, Jake worked for Shell Oil preparing for pipeline installation. Naturally, he came to know many of the farmers and ranchers in the course of doing business. As I recall, he met one such farmer and inquired about a Model T he spotted on the property. In the course of the conversation, the gentleman kept referring to his NRS Ford, but it didn't ring a bell with Jake until later. When Jake realized what he was talking about, he asked to see it and closed the deal to buy it..
As Jake described it, the old German farmer had completely disassembled it and saved all of the pieces in various barns around his property. Jake described it like being on an Easter egg hunt. It took many visits to the farm, but he found all of the pieces and restored it.

Yes I knew Jake .I have restored several NRS cars over the years . I used to go to Rosanky were he keep his car to take pictures and look it over . When he first restored it . He had what look like a 1903 back on the set . He later changed it to the Model N Look .
