For sale as-is 1927 model T Tudor sedan. $7500 obo

Engine:
The correct number matching engine for the car is not in the car, but it is included with the sale. I had it running briefly before putting my “spare” engine in. It ran fine and was quiet but was leaking badly around the hogs head felt. Currently it has a rebuilt 1926 engine in it with specs as follows: babbit redone, aluminum pistons, stainless valves, hardened valve seats, .272 lift regrind cam, counterbalanced crank, bronze Dan McEachern cam gear, dual inside oil lines, recharged magnets, rewound field coil, all transmission bushings replaced, Holley NH swivel top carb, 6v alternator, rebuilt starter, rebuilt fan assembly. The engine runs well on 6v or magneto THE IGNITION COILS ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THE CAR as they are currently borrowed from my other T.

Rear axle:
Totally rebuilt winter 2022/2023. New axle shafts, new driveshaft, driveshaft bushing, adjustable fun projects pinion bearing assembly, new bronze thrusts, and hardened thrust washers, inner and outer sleeves and seals, excellent used spiral Hyatts, NOS shackles and new shackle bushings, graphite paint on leaf spring mating surfaces, standard 3.63:1 gearing. Whole assembly smoothed up and painted.

Steering:
Front axle and steering column need rebuilt I have done nothing to them other than re-pack the front wheel bearings.

Body:
I have buffed/washed/waxed the paint. I believe the car was repainted in the late 80’s/early 90’s. I believe all the glass is safety glass (the windshield has a safety glass marking on it), new side view mirror, new inner and outer door handles, all new window cranks and escutcheons (not installed)

Lights:
Headlights rebuilt with new bulbs, reflectors, reflector springs, focus screws, focus springs, thimbles, sockets, nickel rims, original glass. They are very bright! Tail light rebuilt and modified to have dual socket for a brake light (not wired up yet). Working dash lamp with new bulb and it even has the bulb cover which is often missing.

Top and interior:
Top material needs redone, the wood seems to be ok. The interior upholstery needs redone the front seats are in descent shape, the back seat and headliner are torn.

Misc:
New muffler, new tailpipe, new exhaust manifold, all new harnesses, new hubcaps, I have original rain gutters for the car (not installed) new visor frame. The wheels are, I believe, original wood spokes and are still tight. Sediment bulb rebuilt and new fuel line installed, spare tire carrier included but not currently installed, e brake shoes need re-lined and installed (I have new lining) the radiator shell has had dents removed and cracks silver soldered in preparation for re-nickeling, new lower radiator trim. The car has a 1993 Ohio “assembled vehicle” title. It was that way when I bought it, I had no issues transferring the title to my name and had no issues getting historical plates or collector car insurance because of it.

That’s all I can think of off the top of my head. If you are interested or have questions send me a PM thank you

Thank you Tom, it'll make someone a nice car with a little bit of work to finish it up and lucky for them a lot of the hard work is done and a lot of part’s already bought. I was restoring this car to be my “family car” model T and the only reason for selling is because I recently purchased another Tudor sedan from the family of a good friend and fellow club member who passed last year. Hopefully I can find this car a good home.
